Field Notes Pro Safety and Policy Disclaimer

Field Notes Pro supports organization, draft support, training, and review workflows. It does not replace officer judgment, agency policy, supervisor review, prosecutor guidance, statutory requirements, legal advice, or official reporting systems. Officers remain responsible for final review and approval.

What Field Notes Pro does not do

It does not replace officer judgment.
The officer remains responsible for verifying facts, editing language, and approving any narrative or case document before official use.
It does not override agency policy or statutory requirements.
Official forms, policies, supervisor expectations, prosecutor guidance, and reporting systems control final requirements.
It does not invent facts.
Draft language stays tied to officer-provided facts, source notes, and reviewer-confirmed information. Nothing is asserted that the officer did not enter or affirm.
It does not decide probable cause.
Case Builder organizes what the officer wrote and checks it against an element model. It does not decide probable cause, approve arrests, provide legal advice, replace prosecutor guidance, or complete official reporting requirements for the officer.
It does not submit official reports.
Copy/export into agency reporting or RMS workflows is a support path, not an automated official filing or approval workflow.
Fictional training data only. Field Notes Pro is not a CJIS system and is not a system of record. Real case information — names, PII, report or citation numbers, CAD/RMS/BWC references, or evidence from actual investigations — must never be entered. See the Terms of Service §3 and the Privacy Policy.
